Description
Generations in the Workforce with MiShon Landry
In this session, participants will understand multigenerational workplaces and the generational gap, which is the difference of outlook, opinions, beliefs, skills, attitudes, and behaviors among the older generations and the younger generations.
To successfully bridge the generation gap in organizations, maintain harmony and productivity within teams, one must be attuned to the drivers, preferences, aspirations, and strengths and weaknesses of each generation. Understanding how various individuals like to be recognized and rewarded is critical for knowing how to get the best out of each person. The participants will also gain an understanding of what attributes to Inclusive + Equitable™ Leadership as well as methods of fostering an Inclusive + Equitable™ Leadership Culture which allows individuals to not only respect differences in the workplace, but also how to hold each other responsible for their actions.
In this session we aim to achieve multi-generational organizational success by providing tools and resources that enable participants to understand and deploy motivators for each generation. Being intentional about helping individuals abandon negative stereotypes and bias, by recognizing the value that each different generation brings to the table.
